Specialties Offered

Problem Gambling
Problem gambling therapy is designed to address the treat the repetitive, uncontrollable gambling behavior that continues despite severe negative consequences on a person’s life, including their mental health, finances, relationships, and work.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is the use of medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. Primarily used to treat opioid addiction (such as heroin or prescription pain relievers) and alcohol use disorder, MAT is considered an evidence-based, gold-standard approach that helps normalize brain chemistry, relieve physiological cravings, and normalize body functions without producing the negative effects of the abused drugs.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an evidence-based, non-pathologizing psychotherapy that treats the mind as a system of distinct “parts” (subpersonalities) led by a core “Self”. It helps individuals heal trauma, anxiety, and depression by fostering self-leadership, which involves compassionate, curiosity-driven, and calm interaction with protective and wounded parts rather than suppressing them.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal-oriented, and time-limited talk therapy that treats mental health conditions by changing negative thought patterns and behaviors. It focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and actions to help individuals manage problems like depression, anxiety, insomnia, and chronic pain.
Adults in early recovery are typically defined as individuals in the first 90 days to one year of sobriety following addiction treatment. This critical, transitional phase involves stabilizing, reversing physical/mental damage, and developing new, healthy lifestyle habits to avoid relapse. It is a period of intense learning, vulnerability, and behavioral change.
